Retention Tank

The retention tank selection application was developed in cooperation with a leading company in the field of production of concrete retention tanks, Ecol – Unicon. This tool allows for quick selection of the appropriate tank from the Hydrozone series using the most reliable rainfall data from the Polish Atlas of Rain Intensity.

The application allows for better design and adjustment of the retention tank to specific needs in four simple steps. It also contains useful elements for construction planning, such as the functionality of using rainwater. After making the selection, the system generates a PDF file that contains information such as the size of the retention tank, the value of the outflow, the functional diagram of the tank with capacities and a description of the selected functionalities.

GRP Pipe Tank

Pipe tank sizing application was prepared together with Amiblu Poland Sp. z o.o., a producer and sup-plier of GRP pipe systems. This tool allows for a quick selection of an underground horizontal storm and melt water retention basin, using the data given by the user.

As a result, the user gets an illustra-tive design of the basin together with its parameters such as basin’s diameter, length and capacity.

All calculations connected with basin’s capacity are done in accordance with DWA-A117 guidelines (for catchment areas of ≤ 200 ha with sewage systems or systems with flow time of ≤ 30 min). The application makes work easier and reduces time needed to prepare necessary calculations when selecting the appropriate retention basin.

PEHD tank

The PEHD tank selection application was developed in cooperation with Uponor Infra, a leading international supplier of pipe systems for underground infrastructure.

The extreme weather phenomena that have been intensifying in recent years, such as torrential rains or long-term rainfall, have confirmed that sewage networks are not adapted to absorb excess water. The solution to the problem may be the use of stormwater retention tanks.

The PEHD retention tank selection application allows you to calculate the required retention volume and select Weholite tanks with appropriate dimensions. Depending on the available space and building conditions, the tool facilitates the selection of the optimal solution for the design requirements.

Open Tank

The application for selecting a retention tank and retention-infiltration tank was developed in cooperation with TORMEL Sp. z o. o. It is a tool that allows for quick selection of the appropriate tank in accordance with the DWA-A-117 and DWA-A-138 guidelines.

Depending on the terrain conditions intended for the tank, the surface from which rainwater is collected and the type of soil, the user receives a selection of tank variants. Thanks to the possibility of choosing different rainfall models (PAND, Bogdanowicz and Stach’s, Suligowski and Błaszczyk), the user can compare the results of calculations for different tanks.

The application allows for quicker design and matching of the type of retention tank to specific needs and the size of the plot/area at the investor’s disposal in simple steps. It contains useful information for construction planning, such as the dimensions of the tank, information about its construction and the estimated cost of implementation. After selecting the tank, the system generates a file containing the above information.

Infiltration System AquaCell

The infiltration system application was created in cooperation with Wavin Polska and Wavin Hungary. It allows the selection of infiltration tanks and horizontal infiltration pipes based on the DWA-A-138 guidelines. Depending on the surface of the area from which rainwater is collected and the type of soil, you receive the selection of an optimized infiltration system based on the adopted model of rain distribution. This means that the system is selected for the most critical parameters provided for given conditions.

Wavin AquaCell is a modular rainwater drainage system that can be used in both simple and reinforced (double) designs, thus covering the widest range of load-bearing requirements. It is suitable for treating rainwater in green areas, residential areas, parking lots and roads, as well as in commercial and industrial zones. Thanks to its stackable design, it takes up much less space on construction sites and can be transported more efficiently than other models. It can be inspected and cleaned via a test channel.

The selection of a rainwater drainage system depends on the terrain and soil type. It is also possible to adapt the system to the specific intensity and duration of rainfall, which allows for optimal rainwater treatment. The application uses an atlas available for 69 regions of Hungary based on data collected by 100 automatic measuring stations to obtain the size of the given drainage field. In Poland, the application uses the Polish Atlas of Design Rainfall Intensities PANDa. The atlas contains precise data from the last 30 years for a spatial resolution of 5 x 5 km.

As a result of the selection, you will receive a calculation that includes the number of required elements and data about the tank, such as its dimensions, water capacity and structure. In addition, it is possible to download DWG drawings and other materials for the given desiccant system.

The application is available in Poland and Hungary.

Infiltration System Q-Bic Plus

The infiltration system application  was created in cooperation with Wavin Hungary. Access to seepage tanks and horizontal seepage pipes according to the DWA-A-138 guidelines.

Wavin Q-Bic Plus for a robust rainwater drainage system, which, thanks to its modular design, offers a full range of designs while maintaining the load-bearing capacity. Can be effectively controlled and cleaned. The net volume per element is available in this model, as is the width of access to the test surfaces. The safest choice for industrial applications.

The choice of the rainwater collection system depends on the type of terrain and the substance. It is possible to have a system for the duration and duration of the rain, which allows for safe management of rainwater. The application uses an atlas available for 69 regions of Hungary based on data collected by 100 automatic measuring stations to obtain the size of the given drainage field.

As a result of the acceptance, you will receive a quote containing construction elements and data on the tanks, such as its dimensions, water capacity and construction. It is possible to download a DWG file and other materials for the appropriate drying system.

Soakaway Tunnel System

The Soakaway Tunnel System application was developed in collaboration with HAURATON, a renowned European manufacturer of comprehensive stormwater management systems.

This tool provides an intuitive solution for designers, enabling the selection of soakaway tanks according to the DWA-A 138E guideline in three simple steps. The selection process is based on choosing the tank’s location, determining its maximum width, the type of terrain (green or trafficable), and the height of the tank. Next, the user inputs the parameters of the catchment area, soil, the surface layer above the tank, and the depth of the groundwater.

The application’s integration with PANDa data ensures reliable results, which is crucial for effective stormwater management system design. The total volume of the tank consists of the soakaway tunnels as well as the surrounding gravel fill. As the user inputs various parameters, a diagram of the tank displays the updated specifications.

Gravity Systems

The Wavin gravity system selection application allows for quick and easy selection of the required number of roof inlets for gravity roof drainage and selection of drainage system diameters from HDPE, AS+ and SiTech systems. The selection can be done automatically or manually.

In automatic selection, apart from selecting parameters such as the rainfall model or runoff coefficient, you only need to provide the type of pipe material and the total roof surface area to be drained. The application will determine the minimum required number of roof inlets and select the drainage system diameters.

In manual selection, apart from selecting parameters such as the rainfall model or type of pipe material and pipe slope, you need to provide the area per inlet, specify the runoff coefficient (may be different for each surface/inlet) and enter all installation sections and inlets, mapping the layout according to the design or assumptions.
