Rainwater Use
The rainwater use application was developed by RetencjaPL. This tool enables quick estimation of the volume of a rainwater tank based on the balance of water collected from the roof and its potential usage during the simulation season (from April to October).
The application allows for better design and adaptation of a retention tank to specific needs in 3 simple steps. One of the advantages of the application is its reliance on actual local rainfall data from the Polish Rainfall Intensity Atlas (PANDa). This enables users to accurately determine the optimal volume of retention tanks, allowing for the most efficient collection and use of rainwater.
After the selection is made, the system generates a PDF file containing information such as the optimal tank size, estimated water savings, a functional diagram of the tank with capacities, and a description of the selected functionalities.

To perform the calculations, the following data is required:

- garden area,
- roof area.

will help in the optimal selection of green-blue infrastructure, taking into account the roof area and the watered area, as well as other purposes of using rainwater.
