Linear Drainage
The linear drainage application was created in cooperation with HAURATON, a leading European manufacturer of rainwater management systems. The linear drainage application is an intuitive tool for designers, enabling the selection of linear drainage in 3 simple steps.
The selection is based on the indicated drainage location and its required hydraulic capacity, determined by the catchment parameters entered by the user. In addition, the application’s connection to access to local rainfall data guarantees reliable results, which is essential for the effective design of stormwater management systems.

Calculating linear drainage parameters
To properly dimension drainage, you must provide:
- type of investment – it determines the type of products and the selection of the load class,
- drainage length – the range of drainage lengths is from 1 to 100 m,
- maximum load class – it is possible to select a load class different from the one suggested by the system.
Additionally, using our application, you can add all reduced surfaces and their runoff coefficients. Next, select the rainfall model.
Results of selecting linear drainage parameters
The application will provide the following results:
- parameters of the selected linear drainage,
- calculated flow,
- percentage of channel filling.
The system will suggest ready-made solutions and also enable receiving complete documentation with drawings by e-mail.
Calculation results
Once you have made the correct selection, you can download the results as a PDF file and place them in your project.
Additionally, at any time you can directly contact the manufacturer of the solution to ask about the details of the selection, the accuracy of the calculations or request a quote for the solution.
