The tool enables the fast and intuitive selection of a suitable tank or tank configuration by considering the required fire water storage volume, site conditions, and the specific requirements of the protected facility.
In just a few simple steps, users can select the optimal solution from a wide range of Carat XXL tanks with capacities ranging from 16,000 to 122,000 litres. Manufactured from high-quality HDPE (high-density polyethylene), the tanks provide complete watertightness, exceptional durability, resistance to challenging soil and groundwater conditions, and the flexibility to expand the system in the future. Their lightweight prefabricated construction also ensures fast and efficient installation.
The tool supports the design of fire water storage systems for a broad range of applications, including industrial facilities, logistics centres, public buildings, residential developments, airports, wind farms, and forest areas requiring fire protection. It takes into account the key design assumptions related to the required fire water reserve, project location, and installation conditions.
Once the selection process is complete, users receive a summary of the key technical parameters of the recommended solution, including the number and capacity of the selected tanks. They can also generate a PDF report containing a summary of the selected fire water storage system and its main technical specifications.
